My oldest loves all sorts of fozelek as it is easy to eat for him. He loves most of soup and stew dishes. Hence we prepare fozelek quite often in this house 😀
When we lived in Hungary, my husband’s late grandmother would prepare us all sorts of fozelek, however, my oldest was only 1 year old back then. He does not remember Hungary at all, so am not quite sure where he gets this side of him, loving soups and stews much hahaha 😀
250 g ground beef, brown
Then stir in:
1 small onion
4 garlic
Add in:
1 small bag frozen mixed Macedonian veggies (corn, peas, carrots, green beans, Lima beans), give a quick rinse
900 ml vegetable broth
500 ml water
Boil for 20 mins then season with:
2 beef bouillon cubes
1 tbsp Vegeta powder
Mix together:
2/3 c flour
4 x 1/3 c water
1 tbsp mushroom granules
Pour in flour mixture to thicken soup
Serve warm

Ingredients
- 250 g ground beef brown

- 500 ml water
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 tbsp Vegeta powder
- 2/3 c flour
- 4 x 1/3 c water
- 1 tbsp mushroom granules
Instructions
- Brown meat, stir in sliced onion and garlic
- Add in veggies, broth and water
- Boil for 20 mins
- Season with bouillon, mushroom granules, and Vegeta powder
- In a bowl or cup, mix flour and water
- Pour in flour mixture to thicken soup
- Serve warm
