Normally we do not add tempeh in this soup when we use only chicken. We can also add boiled eggs as opposed to chicken and then we would add tempeh along. But you know me, I make my own style 😛
2 thighs
5 c water
Bring to boil 15 mins
Add in:
3 large potatoes, cubed
Add in:
1 block tempeh, cubed
In a blender, process until smooth:
1 large onion
4 garlic
4 candle nuts
1 tsp cumin
2 tbsp veg oil
1/4 c water
Add in spice paste into the pot, stir
Add in 4 tsp Vegeta powder
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/4 tsp ginger powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Pour in 1 can coconut milk
Add in a dozen boiled eggs
Adjust flavor
Serve with rice
