In Canada, we call these as Timbits. I know in USA sometimes donut holes. How about where you are from? 🙂
1/2 tsp sugar
1 scant tsp instant dry yeast
150 ml lukewarm milk
Mix sugar and yeast into milk, let stand until bubbly
Pour yeast into:
200 g flour
Stir with wooden spoon, cover with cling wrap, let rest until doubled in size
Heat enough cooking oil on medium heat
Shape dough into balls or flatten bits
Fry til golden brown
Mix:
1/4 c sugar
3 generous pinches cinnamon powder
Coat fried doughnut with cinnamon sugar as soon as they are out of the oil
Serve immediately
