This following recipe can be turned into regular cake, baked in round, square, or even bundt pan, but also for cupcakes. They are good as is even without topping/buttercream.
I had 2 ripe bananas, so I added them into the batter, and turned it into chocolate banana pull-apart cupcakes.
That being said, you can omit the bananas to make them regular chocolate cupcakes 😊
2 1/2 c flour
1 1/4 c sugar
1/4 c cocoa powder
2 tsp BSoda
A pinch of salt
2 c water
1/2 c vegetable oil
2 tbsp vinegar
1/2 tbsp vanilla essence
2 ripe bananas, mashed
Chocolate Banana Pull-Apart Cupcakes
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c flour
- 1 1/4 c sugar
- 1/4 c cocoa powder
- 2 tsp BSoda
- A pinch of salt
- 2 c water
- 1/2 c vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp vanilla essence
- 2 ripe bananas mashed
Instructions
- Mix dry
- Mix in wet
- Stir in mashed bananas
- Bake for 25 mins on preheated 350 F
- Cool before decorating
- Your favorite buttercream and melted chocolate. Line the cooled cupcakes according to the shape you want to make, cover with buttercream, and pipe melted chocolate as decoration. Easy peasy 😀
