It’s my youngest’s birthday, yay ๐ So I made tumpeng ๐

2 c rice, rinsed
1 can coconut milk
1 lemongrass
2 kafir lime leaves
2 Salam leaves (Indonesian bay leaf, if not available, use 1/2-1 leaf as bay leaf has stronger and a tad different flavor)
Salt to taste
Stir
Click rice button on your instant pot
And thats it! Fluffy fragrant rice
Serve as is with side dishes or mold it into cone shape while still warm

Perfect for Nasi Kuning (fragrant yellow rice), Nasi Uduk (coconut rice), Soto (Indonesian soups) etc. I made these to accompany
1 bag baby potatoes, halved
Vegetable oil, for frying
1 small onion
Garlic powder, nutmeg powder, ground white pepper, Vegeta powder, to taste
1-2, egg white
Fry potatoes
Grind into paste the onion, then mash the fried potatoes into onion paste
Season with garlic, nutmeg etc
Shape into balls, flatten a little, roll into egg white
Fry medium heat for 3-5 mins
