Love pot stickers!
You can fill it with anything from veggies, mushrooms, chicken, beef, or whatever you prefer! I am piggying out whenever I make pot stickers at this house 😛
I like them as is, with all sorts of sauce, or you can try my dipping sauce bellow. Too bad I run out ginger, otherwise, would be better with ginger too!
Ingredients
- 8 bb carrots and 8 bb potatoes
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3 garlic diced
- 2 tbsp diced onion
- 250 g ground beef
- Vegeta seasoning to taste
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 c water
- 1 tsp cornstarch in 1-2 tbsp water
- wonton wrappers
Instructions
- Dice 8 bb carrots and 8 bb potatoes, set aside
- Saute onion and garlic in hot oil, then add in 250 g ground beef, brown beef
- Add in veggies, Vegeta seasoning to taste, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1/4 c water, cook covered, 10 minutes
- Dissolve 1 tsp cornstarch in 1-2 tbsp water, pour into pan, stir, cook for another 20 mins, take off from heat, let cool
- Place a tsp of filling on wonton wrapper, wet sides and fold as dumplings
- Heat 2-3 tbsp veggie oil, place dumpling, cook covered on medium-high for 5 minutes
- Pour in 1/4 c water, cook for another 5 mins
- Serve with your favorite sauce (i did make a vid for the dipping sauce, but wont have the time to edit for now)
Dipping
- 1/4 c low sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp water
- Sesame oil to taste
- Pepper flakes/ground black pepper to taste
