Hi friends,
Earlier I baked some Jewish pastry/cookies known as hamantaschen. My following recipe makes 18 cookies. They are pretty quick to make, the whole process takes less than an hour to prepare, to make then to bake. I filled the cookies with two kinds of jams, of apricot and raspberry, plus DF dark chocolate spread.
I used a convection oven to bake and the background music of the video is by Fugue.
125 g flour
A pinch of salt
70 g sugar
3 tbsp each vegetable oil and nut milk
1/2 tbsp vanilla essence
DF chocolate spread
Jam of your choice
Method:
– mix dry
– mix wet
– pour wet into dry, stir to combine
– roll flat and cut with round cutter
– place jam/chocolate in center
– shape into triangle pockets
– bake on preheated 350 F convection oven for 10 mins
