Husband got me Instant Pot and for sure, tried making porkolt in it hahaha
Obviously you can prepare this stew stove top, but since Instant Pot is always deemed to be an easy way of cooking, I had to try to see 🙂
Verdict? Yep, just drop everything in for most dishes, and click the necessary button, voila 😀
Just like this stew, I did not have to wait and stir, just click and devour.
Btw! I added mushrooms, normally I do not use mushroom, so please omit if you don’t like or don’t have, no worries 🙂
1/2 of a medium onion, diced
4-5 garlic, thinly sliced
1.5 kg beef, cubed
1 tsp caraway/fennel seeds
2 bell pepper, cut
1 box button mushrooms, white preferably but I had cremini that I wanted to use up (OPTIONAL) – white button mushrooms are best!
14 grape tomatoes, halved
1 bay leaf
4 tbsp smoked paprika powder, dissolved in enough water
1 tbsp Vegeta powder
Enough water
I am using instant pot, you can use stove top
Heat oil, saute garlic and onion until soften, brown meat
Add in the rest of the ingredients, click stew option and add 10 more minutes to the timer
Serve with nokedli (spaetzle) or even rice 😀
