We eat a lot of veggie stir-fry in this house as they are always freshly made, super quick to make (ready in less than 15 minutes usually), and definitely no hassles, onion, garlic and sauces in the fridge, that is all 😂
May sound and looking like nothing, but it’s packed with nutrition and protein (from the tofu).
You can add whatever you wish into your stir fry. Sometimes when mushrooms aren’t too expensive, I would add tons of them as I love mushrooms so very much. You can also add shrimps, chicken, beef strips, if you aren’t vegan. Even if you are, there are vegan shrimps, soycurls and whatnot to add as well, if you’d like 😊 We love using soycurls if not tofu. I haven’t seen vegan shrimps here but in Germany.
Let’s see how I made this super simply quicky stir-fry!
Ingredients
- 1 bag of bean sprouts
- 1 bag of baby Bok Choy
- 1 box of medium-firm tofu, cubed
- 4 baby carrots, super thinly sliced
- 1/2 of a medium size onion, sliced
- 3 cloves of garlic, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
To taste
- vegan Worcestershire sauce
- Sriracha sauce
- Hoisin sauce
- sesame oil
- Kikkoman soy sauce, less sodium
- Vegeta powder
How to
- Heat oil, saute garlic and onion, carrots until fragrant
- Stir in rinsed sprouts and bokchoy cover and cook for 3 minutes
- Uncover, add in cubed Tofu, season with sauces and powder, stir
- Cover back and cook for another 4-5 minutes
- Serve immediately with warm rice
