Years ago, my husband was the stick-man, literally. So I often made fat bombs using dairy cream cheese to fatten him up ๐ 15 years of hard work paid well. He has gained a lot, more than he’d like to. Chubby cheeks, double chin, and beer belly, when he doesn’t even drink ๐๐๐๐ Mission success ๐๐โ๏ธโ๏ธ๐๐
I kid, I kid.
My husband often goes to work at 4 AM (he wakes up at 3), ladies and gentlemen, often he cannot tolerate breakfast that early. So I make him bliss balls and/or fat bombs that are also protein packed. They are small in size, easy to just grab and swallow, and he would at least store some energy when he cannot eat breakfast ๐
Since I am no longer consuming dairy cream cheese nor whey protein, my new bliss balls and fat bombs are using hemp or pea based protein. Like these dark chocolate double nuts (๐ don’t laugh, I suck at giving titles!).
Let’s see how I made these babies!
- 2 heaping tbsps coconut oil
- 1 heaping tbsp cashew butter
- 1 packet Pure Via (zero calories)
- 1 scoop Vegan Freak, dark chocolate flavor
- whole roasted hazelnuts
- Place coconut oil and cashew butter in a bowl, microwave for 30-40 seconds, stir to melt
- Stir in sweetener and protein powder to combine
- Stir in coconut
- Place hazelnuts on mold, pour protein mixture
- Freeze for an H, unmold and store in container
- Keep chilled
Dark Chocolate Double Nuts Fat Bombs
Ingredients
- 2 heaping tbsps coconut oil
- 1 heaping tbsp cashew butter
