1 block tempeh (300g), thinly sliced (long or as pictured, is up to you)
2-3 tbsp soy sauce
2-3 tbsp olive oil
2-3 tbsp maple syrup
1 1/2 tsp hot sauce
4 1/2 tsp liquid smoke
1 tsp cumin powder
Black pepper and salt to taste
If you are marinating tempeh over night, use the later measurement (esp 3 tbsp soy sauce instead 2), if only half hour or so, use 2 tbsp each soy sauce, olive etc
Place marinated tempeh on parchment lined sheet
Preheat oven 425 F and bake for 20 minutes (flipping side half way)
Burger buns (read ingredients, some use eggs and dairy), toast
Ketchup
Sliced onion
Lettuce
Tomatoes
