This is delish eventho looks so simple!
1.5 kg cabbage, chopped, divide into four portions
4 tbsp flour
1 huge purple onion, chopped, divide into four portions
1/3 c water
1/3 c * 4 almond milk
Salt and pepper
Hungarian Vegeta
Wash and drain chopped cabbage
Into 5 quart Crock-Pot, sprinkle the first portion of chopped onion
Top with one portion of chopped cabbage
Sprinkle with Vegeta then flour
Wet with 1/3 c milk
Sprinkle the second onion, then cabbage, Vegeta, freshly cracked black pepper, milk
Then repeat steps but without pepper
On last (fourth portion of everything), with pepper plus salt and water
Cook on high for 3 H at least
Stir before serving
To serve, sprinkle cabbage with browned breadcrumbs
1 tbsp vegan butter or margarine, melted on stove
Fry 1/4-1/2 c breadcrumbs
