This Indonesian dessert-drink has many varieties and always served cold or with ice. You can add coconut milk, palm sugar solution, cooked red beans, all sorts of fruits, all sorts of tapioca pearls, condensed milk, dairy free milk, and syrups
Sometimes they also have roasted peanuts
Am enjoying the sun today, and although I can feel the Fall air is here, I still have time for some cold dessert drink!
1 can grass jelly drink, chilled
100 g fermented cassava, mine was frozen (if yours aren’t, add shaved ice to the dessert-drink!)
1 banana, sliced
1 tbsp Ros (rose) syrup
1/4 tbsp chia seeds
Pumpkin seeds for sprinkling
Mix and serve!
