Simple and easy, just how I like it 🙂
2 c of brown rice (white if you prefer, is fine)
1 can of coconut milk
0.5 cm of ginger root, scrapped and sliced
1/2 of a bay leaf
3 screwpine leaf, knotted
Generous salt to taste
Cooked black turtle beans, to serve
Rinse rice and place in rice cooker
Add in the rest of the ingredients
Select cook
Serve mixed with cooked black turtle beans (I also sprinkle my plate with fried shallots and Indonesian cucumber pickles ‘acar’)
Nasi Lemak With Black Turtle Beans
Ingredients
