Bridesmaids Pink Lemonade

There is a Wedding themed contest at instructables.com that I am going to enter with this following drink 😀

Lemonade is always delicious for summer party, but this is extra special with tart cherry juice, soooo mouthwatering 😀

And yes, the title is from the movie 😉

Lemon peel of 1 lemon

1/2 c sugar

1/2 c water

Place into a pot, bring to boil in medium heat, stir often

Let simmer until sugar is dissolved

Take off from heat and cool to room temperature

Into a pitcher or a pot or bowl or whatever you want to use :

Squeeze juice out of 10 large lemons

Strain to discard seeds

Add in 5 c of cold water into lemon juice

Add in 1/4 c tart cherry juice

Pour in sugar solution through the strainer

Stir mixture

Chill before serving and enjoy 🙂

NOTE: You can use sweet cherry or cranberry juice, and add a pinch of salt to mixture – also delicious !
