I have been living in Canada for 15 years and this was the very 1st time I ever used Stove Top haha Not bad, I gotta say 😉
This is a different take of my old recipe for cheesy chicken and broccoli. I was given a box of Stove Top and I thought, why not throw it in and yep, result was good, boys liked it 😀
1 small can condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
1 c of milk
1 box of chicken stuffing mix (I use Stove Top brand)
1 package of ground chicken (500g)
2 1/2 c frozen broccoli pieces
2 1/2 c of ready to use shredded/grated cheese (you can use Swiss, mozzarella, etc. I use Mexicana, shown on picture) – more cheese if you want more cheesier result
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tbsp olive oil/butter
Heat grease and saute onion until soften
Add in ground chicken and cook until changed in color, keep stirring
Add in 1 1/2 c of the broccoli and cook until tender
In a bowl, mix cream soup with milk, stir to combine
Pour chicken into milk mixture, stir
Add 1 to 1 1/2 c cheese and stir
Add in the other broccoli and stir
Pour mixture onto aluminum foil lined and greased baking pan
Bake uncovered at preheated 375 F for 20 minutes
Take out, sprinkle generously with cheese and return to oven for 5 mins longer (until cheese are melted)
Take out and let stand for 8 mins and serve
Enjoy 🙂
