You can use M n Ms instead Smarties!
3/4 c flour
1 tsp bSoda
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c chopped walnut
10 mini boxes of Smarties (great to use up those Halloween candies!)
1/2 raisins
3/4 c coconut palm sugar (or light brown sugar)
3 envelopes natural instant oatmeal, uncooked (about 1 1/4 c)
Mason jar
Mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in a bowl, then spoon into the gift jar
Top with chopped walnut then Smarties, then raisins, palm sugar and lastly quick oats
Close the jar tightly and decorate as you wish! (With ribbons, Christmas card/tag etc)
Include a tag of instruction how to make the cookies:
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease baking sheets, set aside
Beat 3/4 c butter, an egg and 1 tsp vanilla until well blended.
Stir in flour and everything and roll into balls
Place balls on prepared sheets and bake for 12-15 mins
Cool 2 minutes and move to wire racks

Christmas Lights Cookies in a Jar
