This is a VERY good bars, yummy, delish, perfect for Halloweenies 😀 You can add candy corns too if you wish!
Base
1 1/2 c minutes oats (quick cooking)
1 1/2 c flour
1 c organic palm sugar (you can use brown sugar)
scant tsp of salt
1 c margarine, melted (or butter)
1 c chopped walnut (almond, pecan, whichever)
Mix dry ingredients and melted margarine, then stir in walnut. Reserve 1 c for topping.
Grease a rectangular pan, spread and press mixture into the pan, set aside
Topping
1 c mini Reese’s mix with the reserved 1 c oat mixture
Chocolate Layer
1 can (300 ml) condensed milk
1 c baking chips/chocolate chips
2 tbsp margarine/butter
Mix everything into a pot and heat up on low-medium until all melted smoothly.
Pour mixture onto base
Method
Preheat oven to 350 F
Sprinkle topping covering chocolate layer and bake for 20-25 minutes max.
Let cool in pan for at least 3 hours at room temperature before slicing.
Slice into bars and enjoy 🙂
