This is so good to be served with warm rice and if you like spicy food as much as I do, this dish is for you, as it is super spicy 😀
Well, super spicy for me anyways, but oh, so, good 😀
Chili sauce:
1 cup bird eye chilies
4-5 clove garlic, minced
2 x 1/2 c ketchup (Heinz’d is perfect)
2 x 1/3 c ketchup and plus another one if you’d like
2 tbsp margarine
Enough water
Salt and sugar (only if needed)
500 g chicken breast, skinless, boneless, cubed
A bunch of cilantro, sliced
Make the sauce first:
Boil chilies for 10 mins, drain, place back into pot, pour in new water, boil again for 10 mins, repeat once more
Make paste in a blender, add water if needed
Place paste into a pot, add in other ingredients, bring to boil until thicken in low heat, set aside
Heat nonstick pan, dry fry chicken until changed in color then add in 2-3 heaping tbsp of chili sauce, stir quickly
Add in just enough water and adjust flavor if needed
Cook until chicken is well done
Just before turning off stove, add in cilantro and stir
Serve with warm rice!
