I’d love to drive a Jeep someday. Always dreaming to own one, a nice small Jeep, red color preferably. I think I’d look awesome driving a Jeep ๐
My Dad had an old Jeep when I was in highschool. It was rusty, loud, and dusty, but I’ve always liked Jeep, so even though Hughey’s hairs were everywhere (our king spaniel), I did not really mind, unless I was going to school ๐
Made this following cake for a returning customer tho ๐
Get your favorite cake and cream ready, this tutorial is as easy as 1, 2, 3, I promise ๐

Build your structure first. This is for 3D cake, which means it stands up on its tires instead flat on cake board. For the structure, you will need a sturdy cake board, dowels, and some cardboard cutouts. Cover your cake board with heavy duty aluminum foil.

Drill 4 holes on the cake board, and insert the dowels
With cardboard, you will have to cut as shown here and also cut 4 strips of cardboard. This is for your wheel arch and where you will place the tires (which were cookies covered in fondant). Attach cardboard cutouts with stapler to the cake board, while the cardboard strips for the arch are attached with glue.

Once structure is set, sturdy and strong, get another cake board. Drill 4 holes, cover with aluminum foil. Push the structure onto this cake board.
Stack 3 cakes with buttercream of your choice. Carve one side of the cakes, slanted as shown here, for the front side (windshield window) of the Jeep. That’s about it!

Cover the whole with buttercream
Then cover with fondant and you are good to go. Best is of course if you use precolored fondant. Don’t forget to cover the wheel arch with fondant too

1 cake left, and that’s your “mud”. Crumble it to cover the dowels.
To place the tires, they will rest comfortably on the cake “mud”. To secure it to the cardboard once it’s covered with fondant, apply a dab of buttercream either on the tires or on the cardboard.
Tires are chocolate cookies (you can use whatever cookies, as long as it’s firm cookies and round obv.) wrapped in fondant.
See, as promised, easy peasy ๐
