Wild strawberries are not much different from the strawberries usually sold in supermarkets/fruit shops. This cake doesn’t use real strawberries, but fruit soup powder. In Hungary and other European countries, fruit soup is often served (Hungarian: Gyümölcsleves), which is refreshing when it’s summer; However, this cake uses store-bought fruit soup powder, Knorr brand, and that’s the flavor I used, wild strawberry fruit flavor (Hungarian: Szamóca).

2 cups wheat flour
1/2 cup wheat flour
1 cup sugar
2 tsp baking soda
1 cup yogurt
2 tbsp cooking vinegar
1 1/2 cups water
1 tsp Hungarian pear essence
1 pack 45 g Knorr Gyümölcsleves Szamóca
1/2 cup meringue candy, grind it using a coffee grinder (I left over from royal icing when I made decorated sugar cookies, I sprayed it and baked it into meringue)
How to make
Mix the dry ingredients, make a hole in the middle, pour in the wet ingredients, stir well
Brush the baking pan with butter or margarine, add flour, spread evenly
Pour in the mixture
Bake at 325 F until a skewer or knife is not wet (approximately 1 hour 45 minutes)

Buah stroberi liar ga jauh beda dengan buah stroberi yang biasa di jual di supermarket/toko buah. Kue ini ga pake buah stroberi asli, melainkan bubuk sup buah. Di Hongaria ataupun negara Eropa lainnya, sering ada sajian sup buah (Hongaria: Gyümölcsleves), seger deh kalo lagi musim panas; tapi, kue ini pake bubuk sup buah beli di toko, merek Knorr, dan rasa yang saya pake yah itu dia, rasa buah stroberi liar (Hongaria: Szamóca).

1/2 cup permen meringue, haluskan pakai coffee grinder (sisa royal icing waktu bikin kue kering hias gula, saya semprotkan dan panggang jadi meringue)
Cara Membuat
Campur bahan-bahan kering, buat lubang tengahnya, tuang bahan-bahan basah, aduk rata
Sapu loyang dengan mentega ataupun margarin, beri tepung, ratakan
Tuang adonan
Panggang pada 325 F hingga tusukan sate ataupun pisau kalau di tusuk tidak basah (kurang lebih 1 jam 45 menit)
