Well in case you are still looking for a nice pumpkin pie recipe, here is mine 😀 Give it a try and maybe this will be one of your favorite to serve next year!
Crust
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour 2 tsps sugara dash of salt3/4 cup vegetable oil mixed with 3 tbsps cold milk
Filling
1 can (I think about 425 ml) pumpkin puree without spice1 can (300 ml) sweet condensed milk1 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder1 tsp ginger powder1/2 of 1 nutmeg, grate1/4 tsp ground cloves2 eggs
Crust
Mix all dry ingredients well, then pour in oil, knead. Press on pie plate, set aside.
Filling
Mix all ingredients well, pour into pie crust.Heat oven to 425 Fm bake pie for 15 minutes then lower temperature to 350 F and continue baking for 40 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
Depending on your size of pie plate, you might want to double the measurements for the pie crust OR you can use the left over of the filling for Steamed Pumpkin Pudding (which what I did as my pie plate wasn’t 9-inch in size but slightly smaller); will be posting the pudding recipe too!
