Color your fondant pink (or any desired color) and divide into small portions for head, body, and legs as shown in the picture below.
By using your both palms, roll each portions; round for head, slightly oval for the body, and small rounds for the legs.
By using your point finger, press each of the legs\’ upper part slightly down; in the end, the shape should slightly become like cubes.
“Glue” head and legs to the body by using a little of water.
Up to this stage, you will need to get ready another 4 more smaller portion of pink MMFondant; these are for ears, tail, and nose.
Take 1 round of small fondant, shape round by using your fingers or palms, then by using your point finger, press the rounded fondant flat. With the help of water, glue the flat fondant as a nose of the pig, as shown in the picture below.
Take 2 other small fondants, round them again using your fingers or palms, then shape them slightly triangles; these are for the ears. Again, with the help of the water, glue it to the head of the pig.
Take the last small fondant, roll it long and thin as shown in the picture below; this is for the tail. With the help of water again, we glue the tail to the back of the body.
Now your fondant pig is almost ready. You can either use fondant for the eyes (but of course not colored pink!) or you can use icing gel as shown in the picture below. I used chocolate icing gel here. Put two
dots of icing gel on the head as the eyes of the pig.
And lastly, by using toothpick, you can poke holes for the nose, voila, your cake topper is ready
MMFondant is rolled fondant made of marshmallow; for MMFondant recipe, you can find it here
Sometimes corn starch or icing sugar is needed for rolling or shaping the fondant; goes the same for plastic wrapper, sometimes iti’s needed to hold the fondant to stay in place (not fallen apart) and in shape
while drying.
