Made my 1st fondant, EVER! Pretty proud of it. It turned up well. I will be using it to cover a fruit cake I am making for my friend’s daughter’s birthday. That should be interesting! For now, let me share you how I made it 😀
1 bag mini marshmallow @ 454 g
1 bag of icing sugar, about 750-800 g will be used
2 tbsp water
shortening for your hands
Add water into marshmallow and melt marshmallow in 30 secs interval over microwave, stirring every time. Pour half bag of icing sugar and mix.
Dump mixture on working table that already brushed with shortening and the other half of icing sugar.
Knead with greased hands until pliable. Let rest over night before using.
