You can either prepare this dessert on a pyrex or trifle glass. I actually made another trifle and had leftover cake, so voila, it became this trifle 😀
Pound cake of your choice, either vanilla or lemon, homemade or store bought is fine, cut into slices (I used home baked pound cake, this trifle was using left over from making this strawberry trifle, recipe for pound cake is there :-D)
2 sachets of sweetener
3 tbsp of Maxwell instant coffee
Cocoa powder
2 tbsp of sugar
1/2 tsp of rum extract
1 tsp of cream (either 15% or 35% is fine)
Enough hot water
2 tbsp of cream cheese
2 tbsp of nonfat vanilla yogurt (either regular or non fat, less calorie, is fine)
Method
Dissolve coffee in hot water and add rum extract plus cream. Stir well.
Moist slices of pound cake with the coffee mixture and place in a serving dish or bowl or glass
Beat cream cheese, sweetener, and yogurt until thicken then scoop some of the cream cheese mixture on top of moistened pound cake. Top the cream cheese with another layer of moistened pound cake then another mixture of cream cheese.
Sprinkle with cocoa powder and chill for at least 2 hours before serving
Enjoy~
