Mini filled bread, mini buns, mini rolls, whatever you want to call these goodies, they are nice to gallop 😀 You can fill it with whatever you wish from savory to sweet. The dough itself will produce a tad sweet rolls, great for dinner buns too 😀
3 cups flour
1 egg + 2 table spoon milk to brush the bread
1 cup splenda (or sugar)
1/4 cup warm water
1 cup warm milk
1/4 cup margarine
1 tbsp active dry yeast
salt to taste
Filling: Chicken frankfurt, cubed cheese, jam, etc.
1 egg
Dissolve the yeast in warm water in a mixing bowl. Add margarine into the warm milk.
Add milk mixture into the yeast mix in low speed using a mixer, add on 1 cup of flour, egg, sugar and salt until smooth.
Stir in the remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time, beating well after each addition.
When the dough has pulled together, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead until smooth and elastic (not too long)
Then put it in a lightly greased bowl and flip it around, greased part facing up and cover it with a plastic wrap and let it sit in a warm place for 2 hours until the dough rise doubled in size and indentation remains when the dough is poked.
Punch the dough fill in with chocolate cheese, Frankfurt, or anything you want and put it on a baking pan, let it sit for another 20-30 minutes.
Brushed the top with egg and milk mixture, bake in a preheated oven 375 degree for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Brush it with butter while it’s still hot
