I love all kinds of marble cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, and even pudding!
Two-flavors in one, and one is chocolate, who would not like that, amiright? 😀
I prepare this cake pretty often, especially when friends planned to stop by and whatnot, always got a good rave 😀 Give this cake a try, maybe you will like it too!
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 large potato, peeled, boiled, mashed (unseasoned, no salt, no milk, no butter)
1/2 scant teaspoon salt
1 cup Splenda sweetener
1/2 cup margarine, softened
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1 cup non fat milk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9 inch round pan.
- Place flour, baking powder, salt, splenda, margarine, eggs, vanilla, mashed potato, and milk into mixing bowl. Beat slowly to moisten, then beat with an electric mixer at medium speed for about 2 minutes until smooth. Reserve 3/4 cup batter; pour the remainder into pan.
- Stir cocoa into the 3/4 cup reserved batter. Drop by spoonfuls over top of white batter. Using a small skewer or knife, swirl the cocoa batter into the white batter to incorporate it in a marble effect.
- Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until an inserted wooden pick comes out clean.

Bahasa Indonesia – Bolu Kentang Marmer
Paling sukaaa deh sama bolu marmer, kue marmer, segala yang marmer, soalnya dua rasa dalam satu kue! Apalagi karena satu rasanya ada cokelat, siapa coba yang ga doyan 😀
Silahkan dicoba resep dibawah ini, teman-teman saya senang sekali kalau berkunjung kerumah dan saya sajikan kue marmer kentang ini.
2 gelas terigu
1 sdm coklat bubuk
2 sdt bakpuder (baking powder)
1 kentang besar, rebus, haluskan
sejumput garam
1 gelas gula (atau gula pengganti seperti misalnya Splenda, khusus buat baking yah)
1/2 gelas margarine
2 butir telur
1 sdt vanila bubuk
1 gelas susu cair
Cara Membuat
- Campur dan kocok seluruh bahan jadi satu, kecuali coklat bubuk
- Bagi bahan menjadi dua, dan beri coklat bubuk pada salah satunya
- Tuang pada loyang yang sudah disapu margarin dan sedikit tepung, buat pola marmer
- Panggang pada oven yang sudah dipanaskan terlebih dahulu 350 F selama 30-35 menit
