Preparation
  • Rinse and soak rice; drain.
  • Combine 1 cup water with the pine nuts and grind to form a smooth paste.
  • Combine 2 cups water with the rice and grind to form a smooth paste.
  • In a heavy pot, combine the pine nut and rice mixtures with the sesame oil and remaining water.
  • Cook slowly over low heat for about 45 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Season with salt and garnish with pine nuts. Serve hot.
