If you have several free calendars, use one as a meal planner, writ¬ing down the names of the recipes that you want to serve on each night of the week for a month at a time.

Also note the cookbook titles and pages where the recipes can be found, and  mark down you husband’s work hours so you can plan around his schedule.

Not only do you have an easy reference for what you’re cooking every night, but you can review the plans from previous months so that the family don’t eat the same things too often.
